MH-67P Charger – The Best Retail Outlet To Get a Reasonably Priced Good Quality Battery.

My First Encounter with Jewelry Photography

I found myself recently asked by way of a client who owns a neighborhood jewelry store to consider some photos of his jewelry so he could post on his site, as well as attempt to sell on eBay. I needed built his site for him (my primary occupation is webdesign, but I do dabble in photography a tad too) and so i did product photography before, but never in jewelry. I had heard it’s as difficult to photograph jewelry as it is kids and animals, but I’ve for ages been one to get a challenge and hate being beaten, so I decided to accept the position and discover the remainder while i went along.

Before I went along to his store, I of course charged my battery in their Nikon 810c Charger so I was good to go. My first trial in what I needed was actually a freebie to him to explore approaches to do the work, as well as establish the ideal positioned in his very own store. He i want to work with a room that looked like something out from the Godfather to accept photos. Therefore I brought my equipment along, my lighting equipment, tripod, camera, Nikon EN-EL23 charger, spare battery, plus a white backdrop to try to have a consistent image. This is my first mistake. I set my equipment up, camera on tripod, lighting stands, and the ring about the white backdrop. My lighting wasn’t suitable for a start and whatever way I moved it, made little difference. I used all sorts of angles and even took out my backdrop to discover a more unique method of presenting the jewelry. Frustration was setting in fast. The white background the white gold in the rings was rendering it very difficult to get a better result. After a couple of hours trying, I made the decision what I was doing wasn’t working. I had been not satisfied with the results.

I chose to bring along up and do some more research and will come back at another time. Looking into it deeper, one thing I needed was a dedicated lighting tent. These were available for less than $100, I got myself one, it was actually 17″ x 17″ x 17″ so a great size for doing not just jewelry. It had LED lighting stitched in, and a selection of four backdrop colors, black, white, gray along with a light blue. I got the tent, and once arrived set it up, and took some shots of my wife’s jewelry. What 86dexmpky difference. Although my wife’s jewelry didn’t sparkle as brand new jewelry, the final results were very encouraging. I had excellent lighting, and most importantly, it was consistent. I immediately contacted my client and arranged another trip to try the tent out and also to view the results. Again, it was actually a freebie because i was going to buy this appropriate for him prior to going full force into photographing his entire stock. The final results were significantly better, I was able to obtain that consistent look and the lighting was great, but there was still more to be done. You can find out what else I did in this article to generate to get more professional looking photos.
